Ribbon Star
So here is a simple DIY Christmas decoration idea... a small ribbon star ornament for your tree. You will need the following:

• Ribbon
• Plastic beads
• Sewing needle and thread
• Scissor

Step 1
Cut of 5 identical pieces of ribbon, approximately 10cm. Take your first piece and fold each end into the middle of the ribbon. Make a small overlap and then sew it together.

Step 2
Now take your next piece of ribbon and do the same. Sew it to the first piece, but turn it slightly to one side, so that it will form a starlike shape in the end. Continue until you only have one ribbon left.

Step 3
Use your last piece of ribbon as a hanger. Simply fold the piece and sew it unto the star. Then ad one plastic bead on each site and then you are done.

Star of Sticks
This easy to make DIY Christmas decoration will only need a couple of things:

• 5 sticks
• Gold paint or spray
• Hobby wire
• Ribbon
• String
• Scissor

Step 1
Take your 5 sticks and form a star. Then starts from one corner and bind the sticks together using hobby wire. Do this on all five corners of the star. At the last corner, make a small loop to attach the string in the end.

Step 2
Now paint the star gold using gold paint or a gold spray. Let the star dry before you continue.

Step 3
Make a bow out of a ribbon, and attach it to the star using some more wire or glue. Put a string on the loop and your DIY christmas star ornament is done!
